Need for a Federal party
One can find many problems within the USA today. However, many of the so-called problems would ameliorate themselves if they were dealt with at the proper level.
The USA was founded on the principle of federalism, the idea that everything possible should be done at as low a level of government as possible. This principle makes it possible for peoples of differing desires to live together. Tyranny only happens when power is used to force someone's opinions and behavior. By minimizing the activities of the federal power, the opportunity for tyranny is reduced.
people will tolerate a "few' impositions. If they are convinced that they are minimal and within the "rights" of the imposer, they will put up with them. When many impositions exist, and they are viewed as derived from power, not from need or value, then resistance begins. The end result of this process is rebellion and division, possibly preceded by empire and/or civil strife.
