However, this implies that any disease may have an effect (positive or negative). Apparently it is the immunities that cause the changes, since once the disease is cured that's all that remains. Now western society has embarked on a massive program of creating disease immunities of many various kinds all across the population. One wonders what this is doing to people. Is this related to the western decline in birth rates? To Alzheimer rates? Who knows?
