Final preparations

We visited the Head Quarters for GOOD NEWS magazine. It is housed in Dr Wallace Schulz's (ex-Lutheran hour preacher for us old timers) home. He has a spectacular view of the Missouri river (and occasions like last week for tremendous wind storms!). He asked me to speak to the FLM (Malagasy Lutheran Church) President and to the Anglican Church there who use Good News for a teaching tool. I have been tasked with taking some videos for them - I think they have unleashed a monster. They may get many more videos than they believed possible. We had a good visit and got some copies of the magazine to bring along. It's really fun to be experiencing God's actions in our lives.

We also worked out a trial run tonite for suitcases and hand baggage. Two suitcases measure out at about 46/47 pounds - on our scale. I hope the airline scales are working correctly like ours. :) The hand baggage has about a 5 lb extra as well so there is some room for working around a slight overweight. Everything seems to be working out. Praise the Lord!

Both Mother and I are getting a little tense, nor worried, but waiting is always hard. 36 or so hours.
